This song is inspired by the old west and the common struggles that characterized the frontier. Who we follow in the song is a troubled man marked by pain and suffering. In this formative years his father died, leaving behind a large sum of debt due to his gambling addiction. Sadly are protagonist was left with the responsibility to pay back all the debt collectors. He tries whatever he can, however he eventually settles on being a bounty hunter. Overtime is morality is chipped away over the impending debt leading to him operating outside the law to survive. He soon takes personal bounties and hit jobs as he’s still being haunted by the death of his father, decisions, and lot in life.
